The Watermill, Maison de Maitre and Farmhouse are three comfortable and spacious self-catering accommodation holiday gites, each is within easy reach of the Loire valley, France.
Each gite has its own spacious garden, shares the heated swimming pool and long stretch of our own river bank, islands and a sandy beach.
The 12m x 6m heated swimming pool, available from May to September, has a Roman steps entrance, varies in depth from 900mm to 2000mm and is safely situated within an attractive walled courtyard.
The village of Lurais has a traditional bar/café, there is a picnic and playground area and a beach with river swimming, and there is a traveling baker who calls daily. Within 2km is Tournon St. Martin which has a small well equipped supermarket, two bakers, a pharmacy and many other useful shops. Lurais is 12km from the picturesque thirteenth century town of Le Blanc where there are supermarkets and a wide range of shops. Nearby are the spa town of La Roche Posay, and the plus belles village Angles sur L'Anglin, as well as being within easy reach of the Loire valley and its magnificent chateaux.
Each self-catering accommodation holiday home has its own fridge/freezer, gas hob and oven, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, private garden, garden furniture and barbeque. Baby cots and high chairs can be provided. Heating in winter is provided by very effective wooden burning stoves with supplementary electric heaters.

The Water Mill, spacious and comfortable, has been carefully restored, keeping as many of the original features as possible. It has 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to a maximum of 7 people and offers ideal self-catering accommodation facilities.
The Maison de Maitre, a traditional French holiday home, is an elegant, comfortable and roomy 4 bed-roomed house, sleeping a maximum of 9 people, perfect for self-catering accommodation holidays.
The original Farmhouse and adjacent barn have been converted to provide wonderfully spacious and atmospheric self-catering French holiday home. Sleeps a maximum of 8 people in 3 bedrooms, and again has all the facilities for a comfortable and ideal self-catering accommodation holiday.
